Cape Town is home to many exciting and unique events over the upcoming months. The summer season is an excellent time for some lovely outdoor occasions where everyone can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, warm weather and lively atmosphere of an open-air performance or a festival. And some great international artists are also visiting our shores. Stay up-to-date and select what suits your fancy from our list of upcoming events.
The Colour Run
Run along Cape Town’s Promenade and be part of a colour explosion on this fun 5km race that is more about becoming a walking (running) art piece than winning a prize. The Colour Run is an event that is meant to bring joy to participants and spectators as well as encourage movement and fitness. Runners dressed in white will be doused with brightly coloured powder along the way and end up resembling Picasso’s paint board once crossing the finishing line. If fun, colour, and some exercise are your thing then this event will be right up your alley.
